Jack H7 & H7L
H7 or H7L — what’s the difference?
Jack H7 Industrial Sewing Machine
A serious machine for serious sewing
If you know you’re going to use your industrial sewing machine regularly, the Jack H7 is the machine I would look at.
It’s a step up from the H2 and is designed for people who want more control, more convenience and a machine they can grow into.
The H7 is suitable for upholstery, marine upholstery, vehicle interiors, cushions, canvas, bags, leather and many other heavier sewing projects.
It’s particularly well suited to someone who is turning a hobby into something more serious or setting up a business and knows their machine is going to get plenty of use.
Is the Jack H7 right for you?
I would consider the H7 if:
-
you’ll be sewing regularly
-
you want a machine suitable for professional work
-
you sew upholstery, vinyl, canvas or other heavier materials
-
you want more automatic and electronic features
-
you want a machine you can grow into
-
you’re starting or building a sewing-based business
-
you want something more advanced than an entry-level industrial machine
The H7 has a powerful 750W direct-drive motor and digitally controlled features including stitch-length adjustment and knee-operated presser-foot lifting.
The alternating-foot movement can also be adjusted to suit different materials.
Why choose the H7 instead of the H2?
You don’t automatically need the more expensive machine just because it has more features.
For someone sewing occasionally, the H2 may be all they need.
The H7 starts to make more sense when you are going to spend a lot of time at the machine.
The extra controls and automation make everyday sewing easier and more convenient, particularly when you’re working professionally.
So if you came to me and said:
“I’m serious about upholstery or heavy-material sewing and I want a machine I can use regularly for years to come.”
The H7 would be one of the first machines I’d show you.
Training and support included.
Buying the machine is only the start.
When you purchase your Jack H7 through Industrial Sewing Machine Academy, you’ll also get lifetime access to the Machine Academy where I’ll help you learn how to use your industrial machine properly.
You’ll find practical training covering threading, bobbins, needles, thread, tension, machine control, troubleshooting and maintenance.
You’ll also become part of our community, where you can ask questions, share what you’re making and get help when you need it.
You’re not simply buying a machine and being left with an instruction book.
You’re buying the machine, the training and the support to help you use it with confidence.
Not sure if the H7 is right for you?
Tell me what you want to sew and how you intend to use your machine.
If I think the H2 will do everything you need, I’ll tell you.
If I think the H7 is worth the additional investment, I’ll explain why.
The aim is to get you onto the right machine — not simply the most expensive one.
