Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 2026
Industrial Sewing Machine Academy is committed to making our website, online training and community as accessible and easy to use as possible for everyone.
We want people to be able to access our information, training and services regardless of ability, technology or experience online.
Our approach to accessibility
We aim to make our website clear, simple and easy to navigate.
Where possible, we work towards recognised accessibility good practice, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
We aim to:
-
use clear and easy-to-read text
-
use headings and page structures that make content easier to follow
-
provide good colour contrast between text and backgrounds
-
make buttons and links easy to identify
-
make our website usable on different screen sizes and devices
-
use alternative text for important images where appropriate
-
make forms as clear and straightforward as possible
-
avoid unnecessary flashing or distracting content
-
make our training content as easy to follow as possible
Videos and training content
A large part of the Industrial Sewing Machine Academy is practical video training.
We aim to make our videos clear and easy to follow, using visual demonstrations and spoken explanations.
Where possible, we will continue to improve the accessibility of our training content, including the use of captions, written information or supporting resources.
If you have difficulty accessing any of our training because of a disability or accessibility requirement, please contact us and we will do our best to provide the information in a suitable alternative format where reasonably possible.
Our online community
We want the Industrial Sewing Machine Academy community to be welcoming and accessible to all members.
If you experience difficulty using any part of the community, accessing information or taking part in discussions, please let us know.
We will do our best to help.
Third-party services
Some parts of our website or Academy may rely on third-party services, such as payment providers, video platforms, community software or other online tools.
We do not always have full control over the accessibility of these third-party services, but we aim to use services that provide a good experience wherever reasonably possible.
We are continually improving
Accessibility is an ongoing process.
Technology, websites and accessibility standards change over time, so we will continue to review and improve the Industrial Sewing Machine Academy where practical.
If you find something that is difficult to access, we would genuinely like to know about it.
Need help accessing something?
If you have difficulty accessing any part of our website, training or Academy community, please contact us.
Please tell us:
-
which page or content you are having difficulty with
-
what problem you are experiencing
-
what type of help or alternative format would be useful
We will do our best to help and respond to your request.
